Puno to San Pedro de Atacama 8 days / 7 nights (3-star)

We will pick you up from your hotel between 07:00 we begin our trip to the Titicaca Lake, we will travel through the Altiplano (High Plateau). After a 3 hour trip we arrive to the border Kasani(Perú - Bolivia border). Assistance during migratory paperwork. Transfer to Copacabana,we will have lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch we will get on board a boat to travel through the Titicaca Lake to the Sun Island. In Sun Island we will visit Palacio del Inca, or Palace of the Inca was built under the Incan Emperor Tupac Yupanqui. These ruins are thought to be the spiritual entrance to the sacred island. After a short hike, we arrive at the hilltop village of Yumani,there we will visit “Escalinata Del Inca” (Inca’s stairs) which leads us to the “Fuente de las 3 aguas” (the Fountain of the 3 Watersheds), the tradition dictates that if you drink from its water you can have eternal life.You will have time to take pictures of the lake and the astonishing Royal Range of the Andes and we will go back to the boat to return to Copacabana.

After breakfast,  We will make a quick visit to the town, enriched by the combination of the Andean and the Christian points of view, the religious sanctuary in honor of Candelaria Madonna, an important pilgrimage site for Bolivians, is located in this town. We exploring the market streets, strolling along Copacabana Beach and admiring the religious sanctuary Moorish cathedral in the central plaza of town, an important pilgrimage site Return to La Paz city at 13:30, arrival to La Paz and transfer your hotel.

We will walk through the charming corners of the Wonder City where traditions of the Andean culture are preserved in harmony with modernity. Admiring it from the heights in the modern cable cars will undoubtedly be an exciting experience. We will visit the historic center of the city of La Paz, the Witches' Market, the Church of San Francisco, the Plaza Murillo.

After breakfast at your hotel, our guide will meet you at your hotel and take you to the airport for your flight to Uyuni  Upon arrival in Uyuni, our representative will meet you at the airport, will be the visit to the Train Cemetery Later we go to the town of COLCHANI where the salt processing center is visited, a complete explanation of the drying, grinding and packaging process will be available. Then we will

go to the salar, making the first stop in the OJOS DE Salar, where you can see the internal activity of the salar, then we will go to PLAYA BLANCA, “Salt Hotel-Museum”, and the first of its kind. 

At noon we will visit the “Incahuasi Island” in the middle of the Salt flat; there are extraordinary calcareous rocks, large populations of Cactus, caves, tunnels and a spectacular 360 grades panoramic view of the Salt Flat. We will continue our tour to the north part of the salt flat visiting a local museum, where we will be able to see pre-Columbian mummies. Later we will get to the Salt Flat viewpoint at the foot of the Tunupa volcano. At the end of the afternoon return to Colchani

We cross the infinite salt plane from north to south, leaving it behind we will travel along the volcanoes range with their eternal snow going to Lípez, there we will have a view of the Ollagüe Volcano

at the distance. Then we restart the trip to the Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve, where we will appreciate the svelte figure of the wild Vicuñas, while we get to the lagoons of Cañapa, Hedionda and Honda where you will see the three variety’s of flamingos typical and unique from the Andean region.

Then we will arrive to the Siloli Desert where we will have some time to take pictures of this magnificent landscape.

This day we need to get up very early (at 6:30 approximately), our first activity is the visit to the Stone Tree, famous rock formation in the Desert, later then heading towards the LAGUNA COLORADA, unique site in its type, due to the biodiversity of the place home and nursing place of the flamingos, later we go to SOL DE MAÑANA where the FUMAROLAS (geyser) are located to observe the volcanic activity of the region, then we go to POLQUES where the passenger can enjoy the hot springs,

Later we will get to the Dali Desert, there are surrealist columns of stones sculpted by the wind. After that, we will appreciate the Laguna Verde (Green Lagoon), one of the pearls of the Reserve at its best moment; we are now at the foot of Licancabur volcano.  Then continue to the border, Hito Cajon Migration Place, continue trip to San Pedro de Atacama   .
