Pompeii: ‘The buried city,’ it was once the holiday destination of rich ancient Romans because of its healthy weather and impressing views. Its archaeological zones, Herculano and the Annunziata Tower have all been included in the World Heritage List by UNESCO.Â
Sorrento: Is famous for its cliffs, its steeps streets and with its view to the blue water of Ischia, Capri and the Naples Bay. Its exuberant vegetation and its great weather has made it in the favourite city for the Romans.
Capri: Is a rocky island off the shores of the southern Italian region of Campania, is famed for its rugged landscape, sophistication, upscale hotels and shopping, from designer fashions to Limoncello and handmade leather sandals. Â Â Â
Amalfi: Deemed by UNESCO ‘an outstanding example of a Mediterranean landscape, with exceptional cultural and natural scenic values,’ this coast was awarded a spot on the World Heritage List in 1997.
Day 1: ROME – NAPLES
Meet your assistant at Termini Station at about 8:00 a.m. (optional private transfer can be arranged from hotels in Rome, if centrally located) and take high speed train to Naples. Upon arrival at Naples train station you will be transferred to hotel in Naples. Check in and the rest of the day at your disposal to explore the city and taste the excellence of local food such as pizza.

Day 2: NAPLES – POMPEII – SORRENTO
After breakfast check out and pick up at 10 am to proceed to Pompeii for the guided tour of the archaeological excavations. This ancient Roman city was destroyed when Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD and buried it, preserving it under a sea of volcanic ash for nearly 1700 years. At the end of the visit transfer to Sorrento, famous for its picturesque old town centre and characteristic fisherman’s village of Marina Grande, one of the most authentic treasures of the city. A local assistant will welcome you at the hotel during the check-in.

Day 3: SORRENTO – CAPRI – SORRENTO
Breakfast at the hotel and departure at 7:30 a.m. for the port of Sorrento. Meet the guide and sail to Capri by traditional Gozzo Sorrentino. After arriving at the island, enjoy a boat trip around the island and have the possibility to visit the Blue Grotto (optional entrance, weather permitting). Once on the island continue by minibus to discover it and reach the legendary Piazzetta, the heart of the island. Enjoy some free time to explore Capri at your own pace. Then return to the port to head back to Sorrento.

Day 4: SORRENTO – POSITANO – AMALFI
After breakfast at the hotel check out and transfer at 10:30 am to Amalfi. On the way we will make 2 hours stop in Positano to discover the pearl of the Amalfi coast. Proceed to Amalfi, a town rich in history that gives its name to the entire coastline. Check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 5: AMALFI COAST
Wake up to breakfast at the hotel and then spend the day at leisure, enjoying the beauty of the area at your own pace.

Day 6: AMALFI – NAPLES – ROME
After breakfast at the hotel spend the morning at leisure in Amalfi. Then at around 15:00 pm transfer to Naples. Our local assistant in Naples train station will help you to board the high speed train going to Rome.
Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for travelling in Italy. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting temples, religious or official buildings. Sun protection, sun glasses, a hat, and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
