Day 1: ARRIVAL AT DENPASAR – UBUD (36km – 1hr)
Arrive at Ngurah Rai international airport in Denpasar the capital of Bali, "The Island of thousand temples". You will be met in the arrival hall by your tour guide and transferred to your hotel in Ubud where you can spend the rest of the day at leisure. Ubud is well known as the center of art of Bali, geographically located in the center of the island, it is home of many famous artists both native and foreign. Ubud spreads its charm through art, especially painting, but the laid back surrounding atmosphere in every corner of this beautiful village is not less worthy to be pursued.

Day 2: UBUD – GOA GAJAH – KINTAMANI – TEGALALANG – UBUD (90km – 8hrs)
Enjoy your breakfast before the pick up from the hotel at 9:00 am. Our first stop is the village of the Stone Carvers called Batu Bulan to watch the colourful and exciting Barong & Kris Dance that tells the story about the eternal fight between good and evil, a Hindu epic from the Mahabrata story. After the performance, we will travel northeast, encompassing a cross-section of the entire island of Bali, from the palm-fringed shores of the lowlands to the towering mountains. We visit the famous village of the woodcarvers, to watch the workers enfolding the intricate designs from the many varieties of woods and a visit to the renowned village of silver and goldsmiths. Then, we visit the Elephant Cave called Goa Gajah. It is one of the historical sites, a complex built in the 11th century. The next stop will bring you to Kintamani, to enjoy the spectacular views of Mount Batur with ribbons of black lava running down from peak into the valley below. The crater is holy and a sanctuary at the top dedicated to the fertility Goddess. Lake Batur lies serene and shimmering against the backdrop of the mountains. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. The return journey brings us to see beautiful rice terraces at Tegallalang, the last stop will be in Ubud, the village of the artists and dancers. You will arrive back to the hotel at around 05:00 pm.

Day 3: UBUD – TAMAN AYUN – BEDUGUL – TANAH LOT – UBUD (136km – 8hrs)
Breakfast at the hotel. You will be picked up at 9:00 am to start the day with a visit to Taman Ayun, the Royal Temple of Mengwi. Built in 1634, this very impressive temple is Bali’s most sacred, surrounded by a wide moat that creates the sensation as if you are standing in the middle of the lake. From there, continue on to Bedugul. This pleasant mountain village is located on Lake Bratan and you will visit its Botanical gardens and fresh market. Due to its higher altitude and cooler weather, Bedugul is Bali’s agricultural center for vegetables. Afterwards, enjoy your set menu lunch at a local private retreat by the lake, which is now open to the public. At the end of the day, you will head to Tanah Lot Temple, Bali’s most photographed. The temple is perched on a little rocky islet that is inaccessible during high tides. After visiting Tanah Lot your driver will take you back to your accommodation.

Day 4: UBUD – SEMINYAK (34km – 2hrs)
Breakfast at the hotel and free time at leisure until check out time. You will be picked up at 12:00 pm for your transfer to Seminyak. You will arrive at around 02:00 pm for check-in and rest of the day at leisure.

Day 5: SEMINYAK
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and free day at leisure. Enjoy the hotel facilities, relax by the pool reading your book or just listen to your favourite music playlist. Alternatively, you can choose to go on one of the following Optional Tours (not included).
Rural Bali Life Scene
Pick up time: 09:00 am
Visit Guliang Kawan Village for a traditional Balinese breakfast. Next, stroll through the village streets to discover the daily life of the Balinese people and see the art of making the beautiful Balinese Canang Sari. Then, continue to see how the elderly Balinese people make palm wine Tuak with a chance to taste it. Proceed to a blacksmith’s house and see how they produce Balinese traditional tools before continuing to the next house where you will see a Balinese man making a traditional hat. Experience and learn how the farmers work in the rice fields. A delicious lunch will be served on a hut facing the rice fields. Proceed to Penglipuran, a small Balinese village that preserved their traditional architectural housing.

Intro to Balinese Cuisine

Before arriving in Guliang Kawan Village, stop at a traditional local market where you will purchase the ingredients of today class such as spices, vegetables etc. Next, enjoy a Cooking Class, which offers a fascinating introduction to the exotic ingredients and unique culture of Balinese food. After your lunch, which is served on a hut facing the rice fields, you might join in a rural activity that allows you to experience how the farmers work in the rice fields.

Rural Cycling

Transfer to Bongkasa village where your bicycle is ready to take you to explore the peaceful surroundings. A safety briefing will conduct by your professional cycling guide. Set off on your 2 hours cycling adventure through untouched rice terraces and villages dotted with traditional houses and temples. Stop to meet friendly locals, take photos of scenic spots and learn about the local culture. Reaching the finish point, the vehicles are standing by to take you to Puri Taman Sari, a traditional Balinese compound owned by a member of the royal family of Mengwi. Here you will enjoy your traditional Balinese lunch.

Day 6: SEMINYAK – PECATU – JIMBARAN – SEMINYAK (55km – 6hrs)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and morning free at leisure. In the afternoon, you will be picked up at 03:00 pm and drive to Uluwatu a beautiful holy temple at the southern tip of Bali, an exquisite monument perched above the sea. The temple and surrounding is the home of hundreds of monkeys which are considered the guardians for the locals. Enjoy the best Bali’s sunset experience, a romantic atmosphere with a golden colour of the far horizon while listening to the chanting of the hundred Balinese performing the most popular dance in Bali, Kecak. The performance tells the story of an eternal love tale between Rama and Shinta. Back to your vehicle for a short transfer to Jimbaran to end the day with a hearty fresh grilled seafood dinner. Then, return to your hotel where you will arrive at approx. 09:00 pm.

Day 8: DEPARTURE SEMINYAK (18km – 1hr)
Have a tasty breakfast at the hotel and get ready for your transfer to the Denpasar airport for your flight back home or on to your next destination.
Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for travelling in Bali. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting temples, religious or official buildings. Sun protection, sun glasses, a hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
